Litigation

We litigate or arbitrate most cases in all Utah State Courts and specialize in various types of cases in the United States Courts. We act as Plaintiff’s or Defendant’s Counsel in white collar criminal and civil cases. We have been admitted in the Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Denver, and Minneapolis Federal Courts and the 9th and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.

We have successfully prosecuted a case against a bank and law firm in Minneapolis, against a Time Share Company for California owners in Salt Lake City and in Los Angles Federal Courts, and against numerous individuals and companies for fraud under Rule 10 (b) 5 for investors. We have defended successfully a Patent of the Zephanie Escape Chute now in production in Mexico. We have successfully represented defendants on a 46 Count indictment brought in Federal Court in Salt Lake City for violations of the Munitions Act, gaining a complete dismissal.

We have gained a settlement in the Federal Court in Salt Lake City on a suit brought against a Canadian Company for stock fraud. We obtained a ruling declaring the Major Crimes act unconstitutional under the equal protection clause of the US Constitution. We achieved a settlement defending a company from New York on a license breach of a product produced by a Salt Lake Company. This is to name a few of the more notable cases. As a United States Bankruptcy Trustee we handled numerous cases involving litigation in Chapter 11 reorganization cases.
